This draft explains how Orderly intends to handle information when the service launches. It is not legal advice and will be reviewed and finalized before production launch.

1. Information we collect

When a seller joins the waitlist or creates an account, we may collect their name, email address, phone number, store details, login information, and subscription information. When a buyer submits an order, the seller may receive only the fields the seller chose to collect, such as name, phone number, delivery details, order answers, notes, and order timestamps.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide Orderly, fulfil orders, deliver requested transactional notifications, maintain seller dashboards, generate sales reports, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information. Buyer email is used for order updates only unless the buyer separately opts into marketing.

3. Seller responsibility

Sellers decide what buyer information to collect and are responsible for using it lawfully to fulfil orders. Sellers should collect only what they need, avoid sensitive personal information, and share buyer information only with people and providers necessary for delivery and service operation.

4. Storage and security

Orderly uses encrypted connections, access controls, request limits, secure secrets, and scoped staff/admin access. Public order responses contain only an order reference; submitted answers remain in the seller’s protected workspace. No online service is risk-free; we will investigate and respond to suspected incidents.

5. Providers and retention

We may use infrastructure, payment, email, analytics, and error-monitoring providers. Waitlist entries are reviewed for deletion after launch communications end. Seller order and customer records are retained while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. We delete or anonymize records when the retention purpose ends, subject to verified support requests and legal holds.

6. Your choices

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of information. We verify requests before changing or removing records and may keep a minimal suppression or audit record when required. Contact hello@orderly.app with the email or order reference that helps us locate your data.
